As part of the legacy of Leeds 2023, the following downloadable documents are being shared for use by the arts and culture sector, to help support the continued focus on access in the arts.  These were created by Jay Millard, Leeds 2023’s Access Officer, for more information on any of these documents you can contact Jay Millard jaymillardprojects@protonmail.com .

Access Supplier Rate Card – this document highlights different access supplier roles, (such as BSL interpreters and Audio describers); gives a description of the service, outlines things to consider and expected hourly/daily rates for the role.

Access Supplier Contact Info – gives contact details of access suppliers who have agreed for their information to be shared with the arts sector, compiled by Leeds 2023.

Access FAQs crib sheet – this document acts as guidance as to what you could say regarding the access provision at your event.

Access Audit template – a template document that can be completed as an access audit of your event

Access Audit – Ways of working – a flowchart showing how the Access Audit template can be used with your planning

Partner Events Website Access Info – if you are working with partners on an event, you may wish to ask them to complete this document so that you have the access information you need to share on your website.

Access Rider template - An access rider, also sometimes called an access awareness statement, is a document that outlines an individual’s access needs. They are a useful resource that cuts down the amount of time and energy that has typically been needed when explaining personal access needs to an employer, colleague, mentor or anyone else that has a working relationship with an individual.
